The Quantity of My Love
by Edward Ezard
When I sensed your absence,
I felt the loneliness deep within.
I know that I had loved you,
but I did not know how much until then.
The quantity of my love overflows,
Spilling from the brim of my every part.
My feelings that I can no longer hide but show,
Flooding all the vessels throughout my heart.
There is nothing left for me to do,
but to tell you how much I feel.
I had coated myself from before,
But for you, my heart is willing and ready to peel.
So let me tell you,
What I've been wanting to say.
Those 3 beautiful words,
Where "you" and "I" are between, everyday.
There's no point in hiding it.
As I look into your eyes, this is all I see,
I love you. I love you!
My heart beats for you, to an endless degree.
